Laptop + Mifi Loaner

If eligible, students may loan a laptop and/or Mifi Hotspot each semester.

• Requires signing the Learning Resource Center’s (LRC) Laptop Loaner and/or Mifi Program Policy
• Check-out duration for the equipment under the grant is for the approved semester ONLY
• Devices will be checked out from the TVCC Athens, Palestine, or Terrell Campus Learning Resource Centers (LRC) upon approval of eligibility.

Application review award process:

• Student must complete the Perkins V Student Support application:
• Information is verified:
  • Major and course(s) enrollment
  • Hours enrolled
  • GPA
  • Special Population self-identification (1 or more Categories)
  • Residency status: U.S. citizen or eligible nonresident
• Student is notified of award
  • LRC Team is also notified of award
• Student will be directed to communicate with LRC staff in Athens, Terrell, or Palestine Campus to:
  • Sign the LRC Laptop Loaner and/or Mifi Program Policy
  • Coordinate with LRC staff, pick-up/ drop off location.
