Trinity Valley Community College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award associate and baccalaureate degrees.  Trinity Valley Community College also may offer credentials such as certificates and diplomas at approved degree levels. TVCC received initial accreditation to award associate degrees from the SACSCOC in 1952, and received its last reaffirmation of accreditation in 2017 with no sanctions or negative actions. The Department of Education (DOE) recognizes the Associate Degree Nursing program at Trinity Valley Community College at the Health Science Center located in Terrell, Texas is accredited by the:
