Accommodations

TVCC ensures that students with disabilities have equal access to its programs, activities, and facilities. In accordance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the college provides reasonable accommodations without lowering academic expectations to support equal educational opportunity.

Accommodations are available at no cost for qualified students with documented physical or learning disabilities. Students must submit a Request for Accommodations Form each semester. Documentation must clearly identify the disability and justify the need for accommodations and may be reviewed by the ADA Compliance Committee.

There is no deadline to request accommodations, but they cannot be applied retroactively.
