TVCC's general education courses are available to all 11th and 12th grade level dual credit students, as well as many of our vocational and workforce courses. 9th and 10th grade students' options, while a little less broad, still offer various opportunities to get ahead on early college learning. Any high school student with parent/guardian permission may enroll in dual credit courses, provided that they have met TVCC's admissions requirements. 9th and 10th grade students do have some additional testing requirements. Tuition for up to two courses per semester is waived for dual credit students residing within TVCC's service area. Also, many area school districts may cover the cost of dual credit enrollment altogether. Other tuition costs depend on if a student lives within or without TVCC's tax paying districts; in-district students will qualify for a lower rate of tuition.
